This policy explains how orders, delivery, returns and refunds work when you purchase prints, digital images, packages or other products through a gallery or ordering platform connected to Early Chapter.

1. Orders

When you place an order through one of our private galleries, you are selecting photographs, digital images, prints, packages or other products for purchase.

Orders may be placed through a third-party gallery and ordering platform used by Early Chapter.

Please check your order carefully before completing checkout, including image selections, product choices, quantities, cropping, delivery details, email address and any voucher or coupon being used.

Once an order has been placed and moved into production, changes may not be possible.

2. Prints, products and digital downloads

We aim to describe and display products as clearly as possible.

Images may appear slightly different in print compared with how they appear on screen. Colour, brightness, cropping and presentation may vary depending on device settings, product size, print finish and the production process.

Where digital images are purchased, they are provided for personal use only. You may download them, print them for personal use, share them with family and friends, and post them on your personal social media accounts.

You may not sell, licence, commercially exploit, or use the images for business, advertising or commercial purposes without written permission.

Copyright in all images remains with Early Chapter Ltd unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

3. Delivery

Where available, orders may be:

  • sent to the nursery as part of a free batch delivery offer within the stated ordering window

  • sent directly to your chosen address for the applicable delivery charge

  • supplied digitally through the gallery or ordering platform

If free batch delivery to nursery is offered, this will usually only apply before the stated deadline. Orders placed after the deadline, or where home delivery is selected, may be subject to delivery charges.

Delivery charges, production times and available delivery options will be shown before checkout where possible.

Delivery and turnaround times are estimates unless specifically agreed otherwise.

4. Incorrect order details

You are responsible for checking your order details before completing payment.

This includes delivery address, email address, selected images, products, quantities, cropping and any voucher or coupon use.

If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@earlychapter.co.uk. We will do our best to help, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production, fulfilment or dispatch.

5. Vouchers, coupons and redeemable deposits

Where a voucher, coupon or redeemable deposit is offered, it will only be valid in the way explained at the time.

It may be subject to conditions such as a deadline, specific gallery, voucher code, minimum spend, one use per order, or product exclusions.

Vouchers, coupons and redeemable deposits cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be transferred unless Early Chapter agrees otherwise.

If a booked mini session is missed, cancelled late, or not attended, any related deposit may be lost and may no longer be redeemable.

6. Cancellations and change-of-mind returns

Many products purchased through Early Chapter are made to order using your selected images, products and cropping choices.

Because of this, once production has started, we may be unable to offer cancellations or refunds for change of mind.

Where a product is not personalised or made to your specification, and no legal exception applies, your statutory cancellation rights will apply.

Please contact us promptly at hello@earlychapter.co.uk if you wish to request a cancellation or change.

7. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include your name, order details, a clear description of the issue and photographs where relevant.

Where an issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy. This may include a reprint, replacement, partial refund or full refund.

8. Non-delivery

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at hello@earlychapter.co.uk.

We may need to investigate with the gallery platform, print lab, fulfilment provider, courier or postal service before confirming the next step.

Please contact us within14 days of the expected delivery date where possible, so we can investigate promptly.

9. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we will process it within a reasonable time and in line with legal requirements.

Refunds will usually be made to the original payment method where possible.

Refunds may be issued where appropriate for confirmed faulty or damaged goods, incorrect items, unresolved non-delivery, valid cancellations, or other situations where a refund is the appropriate remedy.

10. Third-party platforms and providers

Orders, payments, fulfilment, printing and delivery may involve trusted third-party service providers used by Early Chapter.

These may include gallery and ordering platforms, payment processors, print labs, fulfilment partners, couriers or postal services.

Separate platform terms may also apply where an order is placed through a third-party gallery, ordering or payment platform.
